Sticky, savory soy garlic chicken wings cooked to crispy perfection. Easy to make with simple ingredients—perfect as an appetizer or comfort food favorite!
In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings with paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, flour, and cornstarch. Add water and toss well to coat the wings in a thick, pasty marinade. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

Fry the Chicken:
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the wings in batches, spacing them apart. Cook for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.

Mix the Sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed black peppercorns. Set aside.

Sauté Aromatics:
In a large wok or pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Add garlic and chili flakes. Sauté for 10–15 seconds until fragrant.

Simmer the Sauce:
Add the soy honey mixture to the pan and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Glaze the Wings:
Add the fried wings to the sauce. Toss well to coat every piece with the sticky glaze.
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve it hot and enjoy!

Air Fryer: Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Arrange marinated wings in a single layer with space between them. Spray lightly with oil. Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 10 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.Oven-Baked: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place a wire rack on a baking tray and arrange the wings in a single layer. Spray with oil and bake for 10 minutes. Flip the wings, spray again, and bake for another 10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
